P. J Squares are square shaped cheese crackers made by Sandwich, ill were peanut butter and jelly dipped crunchers with a two-sided slice of "peanut butter flavor layer" and a second, jellylike layer made of fruit juice. It comes individually packaged like that shiny fake orange cheese in the dairy case. You slap one down between bread or crackers and presto! Not a PB&J, but an incredible simulation. They were discontinued because of concerns from parents regarding how messy kids can become when it comes to eating them.
Debuted in 1995 and was discontinued in 2003.
